Volunteer Opportunity: Release the Trees
June 4, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm
Join us as we remove tree tubes from an established planting at Forrest Woods Nature Preserve with Land Steward Freya Berntson!
We’ll be working on Saturday June 4, 2022 from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM and from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
Please register below to join us for one or both time slots. Please arrive at designated start times to sign in.
Please bring work gloves and scissors, pruning shears, or a similar tool that will safely slice the plastic tubes without damaging the trees. We’re hoping for a sunny day, so be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, and plenty of water!
Forrest Woods Nature Preserve is located at 17750 C-73, Cecil OH 45821. We’ll meet in the north parking lot.
