Black Swamp Conservancy facilitated the donation of this property to the Wood County Park District in 2013 and holds a permanent conservation agreement protecting the property.
Sawyer Quarry Nature Preserve features 60 acres of woods along with a former limestone quarry and homestead. The Preserve is known for its diverse spring wildflower blooms and popular rappelling programs.
