Join Black Swamp Conservancy for this land stewardship opportunity at Water’s Edge Preserve. In 2013, more than 16,000 trees were planted on this 61-acre riverside preserve with the goal of reforesting this section of the Sandusky River’s riparian corridor to improve water quality and expand wildlife habitat.

We need your help in cutting unwanted tree saplings that are encroaching upon the reforested fields.

Dress for the weather and bring water and work gloves. Waterproof boots are recommended. If needed, we have a limited supply of mud boots for your use.
