As part of our Art + Nature Series, this fall we’ll explore how nature inspires the art of healing with herbalist Sarah Williams. Salves are a useful and versatile form of herbal medicine that are relatively simple to make, and as a topical medicine, they are a safe and gentle introduction to the art. Join us to learn how to craft a plantain, calendula, and monarda salve that is helpful for all kinds of skin aggravations. We’ll discuss herbs, technique, and usage, and you’ll take home a 1-oz. tin of your own.
Dress for the weather – this event will take place outdoors. Restrooms are available. Registration is $10.00 and is limited to 20 participants.
