Paddle with Rob Krain

Join us for a paddle in the calm waters of West Harbor, Catawba Island.

Rob Krain, Executive Director of Black Swamp Conservancy, will be our paddle guide as we launch from Dr. Robert Nehls Memorial Nature Preserve.

Recently opened to the public, the preserve provides excellent opportunities to view migratory and resident bird species and native wildflowers in the restored pollinator meadow, woodland, and scrub-shrub habitats.

This is a free event!

All of our loaner kayaks and canoes have been claimed, so you will need to bring your own equipment to participate.
