So Wild a Place Event Sponsorship

Black Swamp Conservancy is excited to celebrate conservation in northwest Ohio with our fundraising event, So Wild a Place, on Saturday, June 10, 2023.

We hope you’ll consider supporting Black Swamp Conservancy as an event sponsor this year.

The event will be held outdoors on the campus of West Side Montessori in Toledo and promises to be another fun gathering of people who care about conservation in our community.

This year’s celebration will be a casual “backyard” get-together featuring a BBQ dinner and musical artist, Miss Tess. The Nashville-based singer and her 4-piece band create grooving modern-vintage music that nods to the traditions of saloon jazz, country swing, and early rockabilly, yet somehow maintains a unique and personal sound.

Your sponsorship will be acknowledged in event marketing materials, including the event program book and on our website and social media pages. Best of all, your sponsorship will play an integral part in ensuring northwest Ohio’s natural resources are enjoyed for future generations.

In pursuit of clean water, good food, and wild places – now and for future generations – the Conservancy protects more than 175 properties spanning more than 21,500 acres across our region. These lands represent some of our community’s finest natural habitats and family farms.

In addition, we work to restore natural habitats and improve water quality. To date, our major habitat restoration projects have improved over 700 acres of land and revitalized more than two miles of streams. In just the past three years, we’ve planted more than 60,000 trees!

These accomplishments are only possible with the commitment and generosity of our community: individual donors, volunteers, and organizations, like yours, who help to make conservation possible in our region.
