Christy Farm Nature Preserve was protected in 2014 and donated to Sandusky County Parks in 2019.
Named after the Christy Family, who established the Christy Knife Company in 1891 in Fremont, Ohio, this 151-acre property consists of woodlands and wetland areas. Visitors can enjoy a walk along the Muskellunge Creek or catch a glimpse of an active heron rookery. The Cabin, built in 1936 by the Christy family and the Kiwanis Club of Fremont is available for youth group overnights. For more information on use, contact the Sandusky County Parks.
