Our Impact is Forever: Make a lasting gift today

Don’t Forget the Conservancy in Your End-of-Year Giving Plans

As a part of the Black Swamp Conservancy team, you care about our natural world. You value fresh air, clean water, and a lush landscape alive with healthy plants and animals. And you want to ensure that future generations are afforded the same outdoor opportunities that we have had.

Please remember the Conservancy in your year-end giving, and continue your support of protecting our valuable natural resources.

All that we’ve accomplished together over the past thirty years has been amazing. We now protect 185 properties comprising nearly 22,000 acres. In the last three years alone, the Conservancy planted more than 75,000 trees, restored 900 acres of habitat, converted three miles of drainage ditches to meandering streams, and permanently protected more than 2,000 acres of land in our community.

But there is so much work left to do.

This is a critical time for conservation in northwest Ohio. With the momentum behind us, we are poised to accomplish even bigger and better projects than ever before.

Your investment in the Conservancy is well-managed. Our board supervises the finances and provides advice and insight. Our small staff stretches every cent by leveraging matching funds, getting that extra point or two on a grant application that makes the difference, and building valuable partnerships that accelerate conservation and restoration.

Please donate now. Your gift will permanently protect northwest Ohio’s special landscape.

PS: Please help extend our reach by sharing news about the Black Swamp Conservancy on social media. You can help us bring more people into our community of land stewards by sharing with your friends and social circle. When you choose to donate, let people know how they can join you to build on that gift. Thank you so much.
