Join us on Sunday, June 27th at 2pm at the St. Joseph River Confluence Preserve for a nature hike with Melanie Coulter, Conservation Manager for Black Swamp Conservancy.
Located where the east and west branches of the St. Joseph’s River converge, this 140-acre preserve contains more than a mile of the river and an extensive complex of high-quality wetlands. Melanie will highlight the recently completed restoration project which returned former farm fields to natural habitats that serve to support cleaner water and expand wildlife habitat.
Dress for the weather and for unimproved trails. Bring a hat, bug spray, sunscreen, and water. Please note that there is no bathroom facility located at this property. If needed, there are gas station restrooms located in Montpelier and Pioneer, Ohio.
