Meet Our Summer Interns: Trinity Quaintance

Summer is ticking by, and August is already almost here, so we’d better introduce our next summer intern — Trinity Quaintance! Trinity comes to us from Heidelberg University. Currently in the middle of her studies, she is a double major in Environmental and Watershed Science and History. Not stopping there, Trinity is also pursuing a minor in Writing.

Like many of us who pursue careers in the environment, Trinity’s passion started early. Spending her days exploring the outdoors at a young age fostered the passion that led her to the path she’s on now: “It just seemed like the perfect choice to continue doing what I love while also helping nature.”

Ultimately, Trinity is aiming for a career that lets her pursue her passions while contributing meaningfully to society: “I’d like to enter the park service after graduating.” And after that? “Then I would eventually reenter school to obtain my Master’s. Perhaps in geology or something related to history.”

When she’s not deep in her studies, Trinity likes to spend her time reading and drawing, as well as hiking and working out — and of course, working out by throwing discus and hammer. Which, perhaps, is one of the cooler ways we’ve heard someone be active.

Whatever Trinity may find herself pursuing in her future, we wish her the very best in her endeavors. She has been an asset to our summer field crew and an incredibly hard worker. Thank you for all that you have done this summer, Trinity!

We look forward to seeing the impact you will have wherever you go.
