Volunteer Opportunity – Release More Trees!

Join us for one (or both!) of these upcoming volunteer opportunities where we’ll continue to remove tree tubes from an established planting at Forrest Woods and you’ll get a chance to meet our new Land Steward, Freya Berntson!
We’ll be there from 9am to 12pm. Feel free to come for the entire time or for just part of it. Whatever help you can provide will be appreciated!
Please bring work gloves and scissors, pruning shears, or a similar tool that will safely slice the plastic tubes without damaging the trees. Since we hope for a sunny day, also bring along a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, and plenty of water!
Forrest Woods Nature Preserve is located at 17750 C-73, Cecil OH 45821. We’ll meet in the north parking lot.
